The Treasure of the Sierra Madre

The Centralia Fox Theatre is proud to announce the next movie in the 2017 Fox Theatre Film Series, the 1948 western-classic, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, presented by Centralia Orthodontics.

Two down on their luck Americans, Fred Cobbs (Humphrey Bogart) and Bob Curtin (Tim Holt), search for work in Tampico, Mexico in 1925. They convince an old prospector to help them mine for gold in the Sierra Madre Mountains. They face enormous difficulties yet strike gold. But bandits, the elements, and greed threaten to turn their finds of treasure into disaster.

Dress in your best Western apparel and join us in celebrating the cinematography of the 1940’s. Admission for the movie is $10 per person ($8 for members) and $25 per family (three to four persons.) ShowTime’s on Saturday, March 11 are 2 & 7 pm at the Fox Theatre in Historic Downtown Centralia, 123 South Tower Avenue.  Season Passes are also available for the 2017 Film Series.  Passes are $80 ($60 for members) and are good for all remaining movies in the series.
