Live music, kids activities, food vendors (application below), and more! Pack a picnic, bring a frisbee, and settle in for family fun!

 

Enjoy this 51st Annual July 3rd celebration – a cherished Lacey tradition!
3:00 p.m. On-site parking lot opens (you are welcome to walk or bike in earlier).
3:00 p.m. Bike, wagon, & stroller “corral” opens – located at Info Tent
4:00 p.m. All food vendors open (Food Vendor Application)
4:00 p.m. Booths and free activities open (close at 9:30 p.m.)

4:00 p.m. KidzPlay opens. $10 for unlimited play on a wide variety of inflatables! Giant slide, obstacle fun, bounce houses and more!
5:00 p.m. Joy In Mudville Band | Barn–burning American music with soul, funk, and lots of heart!
8:00 p.m. SWAY | All the latest hits plus a dash of rock and retro, mashups & remixes.
10:00 p.m. Fireworks Spectacular presented by TwinStar Credit Union

Family-Friendly Location: Our beautiful park setting is perfect for picnics and family fun. Spread your blanket and prepare to be safely up close and personal to the spectacular pyrotechnic display! And don’t worry, this year we will have many, many portable restrooms on site! Rainier Vista Park is located at 5475 45th Ave SE. Bring a flashlight or headlamp to safely navigate in the park after dark.

Parking: On-site parking opens at 3:00 p.m. (You are welcome to walk-in or ride in earlier.) Space is limited. No RV or trailer parking allowed; parking is first come, first-served; no “saving” additional spots. Consider walking, biking, or parking at area schools. (Aspire 1/4 mi.; Timberline & Lakes 1/2 mi.; Komachin 1 mi.;Yelm & College business district 1 mi.) You can check your bike, stroller, or wagon on-site at our secure “bike corral”!

Traffic: Expect congestion in the area through midnight. From 9:30 p.m. to approx. 11:30 p.m. no incoming traffic allowed on 45th or Parkside, and no incoming access to the park. Vehicles exiting the park on 45th may only turn eastbound. Vehicles exiting the park on Ruddell may only turn southbound. Traffic control officers will be in place at park exits, 45th & Ruddell, 54th & Ruddell, and Ruddell & Mullen.

 

Event Guidelines

Bring a flashlight or headlamp to safely navigate in the park after dark.
Personal fireworks and alcohol are prohibited
Parking lot opens at 3:00 p.m. No RVs or trailers. First-come, first-served. No “saving” additional spots.
Permitted vending only. Call Community Liaison at 360-438-2621 to apply.
Lacey Police staff will be on hand to monitor activities
