Homeless Backpacks

Homeless Backpacks is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation committed to ending homelessness, by giving teens the help they need so they can focus on school, go on to graduate, and become contributing citizens. They provide food for the weekend to homeless teens in Thurston, Mason, and Grays Harbor Counties. - Supporting Global Medical Missions - The Northwest Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center in Lacey supplies used eyeglasses to those who do medical missions for the needy throughout the world. Corrected eyesight means so much to those in remote third world countries who don’t have access to an optometrist and cannot afford a pair of prescription glasses. Traveler’s Tea!

Have you been to a Travelers' Tea yet? The Travelers' Tea is held on the second Tuesday of every month at the Virgil Clarkson Lacey Senior Center from 1:00 - 2:00 pm. This ongoing program is offered free of charge and is open to the public, Guests enjoy a cup of tea and baked goodie while hearing about and watching a video presentation on new trips that we're offering.
