Traveler’s Tea!

Virgil Clarkson Lacey Senior Center
2nd Tuesday 1:00-2:00pm.

Have you been to a Travelers’ Tea yet?

The Travelers’ Tea is held on the second Tuesday of every month at the Virgil Clarkson Lacey Senior Center from 1:00 – 2:00 pm. This ongoing program is offered free of charge and is open to the public, Guests enjoy a cup of tea and baked goodie while hearing about and watching a video presentation on new trips that we’re offering. This is a great way to learn about our Trips and Tours program, meet other travelers, and make new friends. It is also the best way to get a sneak peek at new trips. More than 75% of our trips sell out; guests can pay for trips after the presentation or put a deposit down to hold their spot. Our Trips program plans 4-8 day trips per month visiting regional festivals, fairs, theatrical productions, ball games, museums, cruises, hiking trips and more. We also put together one and two night trips to places like the Oregon Coast, Vancouver BC, Yakima Valley, Leavenworth and Port Townsend. Our travel program offers trips for active seniors and for those who may have mobility issues. Some trips are wheelchair accessible. So come check out our Traveler’s Tea and find out about all the fun you didn’t know you were missing out on.
